The travelling field of anglers were welcomed to Larford Lakes for the second qualifier of the series.
Conditions today were near perfect with highs of 16C and a gentle south west breeze.
Carp were all over the place feeding shallow which was not ideal as everyone was fishing with feeders on the bottom.
That being said, the bream obliged as did the carp down the edges.
Winner today overall was Richard Lawson (Total Angling) who drew peg 28 on the burr.
Rich started on the method long but quickly switched to his edge having spotted a number of carp with their tails up.
Rich then caught steady all match recording a weight of 94-00-00.
Richard has already qualified from the first qualifier.
2nd on the day was Mark Jones (Little Dawley) who drew peg 64 on the Chalet bank.
Mark fished the cage feeder with lots of chopped worm and treble dead reds to record on all bream catch of 41-12-00.
3rd on the day was Phil Briscoe (Larford) who drew peg 82 catching 5 carp and a bream to method short and orange waffters.
Phil recorded a weight of 39-14-00.
4th placed Simon Harris (Little Dawley) drew peg 76 on the Chalet bank and fished the cage at 30m with groundbait and dead reds to finish the day with 38-04-00.
5th placed Rob Wiltshire (Larford) was again unlucky not to qualifiy with an all bream catch of 36-03-00.
Rob fished the cage with dead reds at 30m.
6th on the day was Martin Eddis who drew peg 18 on the burr landing 35-03-00 of bream to the cage feeder and dead reds fishing at 25m
