Colmic / Bag’em Larford Feeder Championships | Saturday 7th April 2018

The first Larford Feeder Championships took place today. Conditions were near flat calm but warm with highs of 12C.

Heavy overnight rain made for difficult fishing with the carp swimming shallow.

The bream fed to cage feeder and the carp to method feeder and waffters.

 

Winner on the day was Brian Clark (Vespe) who drew peg 60 on the chalet bank.

Brian fished the cage feeder at 30m weighing in an all bream catch of 65-03-00.

 

2^nd on the day was Tony Messiner (Marukyu) who drew peg 62.

Tony fished the method with waffters weighing in 47-03-00 of carp & bream.

 

3^rd placed Phil Briscoe (Larford) drew peg 82 and fished the method short with waffters to record a weight of 37-13-00 of carp & bream.

 

4^th on the day was Grant Albutt (Drennan) from peg 64.

Grant fished the cage feeder to weigh an all bream catch of 32-06-00.

 

5^th placed Richie Lawson drew peg 4 on the Specimen Lake and fished most of his match on the cage feeder weighing in 26-13-00 of bream

 

6^th on the day was Rob Wiltshire (Cwmbran Nobblers) who weighed in 26-07-00 of bream to the cage feeder.
