Colmic / Bag’em Larford Feeder Championships | Wednesday 4th July 2018

Just 10 anglers turned out for this midweek qualifier, Conditions were hot and humid with highs of around 26C. Needless to say, the resident carp were all swimming around shallow but some did have a feed on the bottom along with some quality bream.
Winner today and the only qualifier was Tracey Holland (M.D Floats / Miricle Baits) with a weight of 84-07-00.
Tracey drew peg 6 on the Specimen Burr and fished banded hard pellet on the method feeder.

2nd on the day was Brian Clark (Vespe) weighing in 77-02-00.
Brian fished the open end feeder targeting the bream and was rewarded with a fine bag of bream plus a couple of bonus carp.

3rd placed Simon Parker (Viaduct) drew peg 16 weighing in 63-15-00 of bream all caught on the open end feeder at just 16m with corn & worm hook baits.

4th on the day was Kevin Clarke from peg 10 with an all bream catch of 49-09-00 to the open end feeder with corn and worm hook baits.

5th in the frame was Tex Anstice with a weight of 44-13-00 of bream.
Tex fished the open end feeder and method with banded hard pellet.
