Golden Reel Qualifier No 18, The Glebe Fishery, Saturday 29th August 2020

Highs of just 9C on our arrival with temperatures only reaching 15C. Heavy rain and stiff winds also made for difficult conditions. It was more like autumn than late August.

Winner today was Jason Dunworth (Advanced Angling Solutions) who drew peg 105 on pool 7.
Jason fished the feeder tight across with caster and dead reds, landing 235-8-0. Jason now qualifies for the September Grand Final and a shot at the £50k winners purse.

Second overall was Callum Dicks (Maver) who drew peg 81 on pool 5.
Callum caught on the feeder with pellet and later short on the pole with hard pellet landing 210-15-0 of carp.

Third to the frame was Adam Wakelin (Daiwa) with a catch scaling in at 196-14-0
Adam drew peg 22 on Pool 1, fishing caster shallow landing a fine bag of carp and bream.

Fourth overall was Johnny Jenkins from peg 119 on pool 8.
Fishing hard pellet down both his edges recording a weight of 165-14-0.

Fifth placed Nick Smith drew peg 112 on Pool 8. Nick fished the pole with pellet recording an all carp catch that weighed in at 150-14-0.

Sixth placed Andy Covik recorded a weight of 149-11-0 from peg 85 on Pool 5.
