Today’s conditions were very strong breeze, partial cloud with strong sunshine and highs of around 24C.
Winner today and though to the Grand Final was George Parker who drew peg 27 on the River Bank side. George fished a simple match, fishing bomb and pellet at 50m. George landed an all carp catch weighing in 125-0-0.
Second on the day was Jamie Hughes from peg 101.
Jamie was just short of a win with 120-13-0, 4 lbs short of a place in the final.
Jamie had a few carp early, fishing shallow and later found carp feeding to his bomb & pellet line.
Third on the day was Charlie Simpson from peg 19.
Charlie fished a bomb & pellet match landing 113-10-0 plus a few fish to the pellet waggler.
Charlie qualifies for the Semi Finals.
Fourth to frame and claiming a semi final placing was Chris Pavlou from peg 123.
Chris fished the method, bomb & pellet for the majority of his fish but also found a few fish to the pellet waggler finishing the day with 111-12-0.
Fifth place Jason Cawthorne drew peg 43 on the River Bank, weighing in 103-14-0 all caught on bomb & pellet.
