Golden Reel Qualifier No 21 The Glebe Fishery, Wednesday 30th August 2023

Difficult conditions today with a stiff breeze, partial cloud and highs of just 18C.

Winner today and straight through to the September 30^th Grand final was Matt Pillay.
Matt drew peg 85 on pool 5 and fished all day on the long pole tight to his edges with pellet, landing a level 200lbs of carp.
Matt gets through to his first Golden Reel Final.

Second on the day and rewarded with a semi final placing was Dan Hull from peg 86 on pool 6.
Dan fished his edges all day with pellet and corn on hook baits over micro pellets. Dan finished the day with 194-0-0, just a couple of fish short of a Grand final placing.

Third to frame was George Robinson (Dynamite Baits) from peg 68 on pool 4.
George fished caster shallow all day weighing in 174-14-0 of carp and silvers, booking his place into the Semi Final.

Fourth placed Chris Lane drew peg 1 on Pool 1 and fished shallow all day, landing 173-14-0. Chris caught on caster.
