A superb turnout for a Wednesday qualifier with 94 anglers supporting the qualifier, hoping to secure a finalist spot.
Winner today with a impressive 198-8-0 was Ryan McKinlay (Colmic) with a all F1 catch from the Match Lake on peg 1.
Ryan fished the caster shallow at 13m landing prime F1’s and a few bonus carp.
Ryan progresses to his first Golden Reel Grand Final and a shot at the £50,000 winning purse.
Second overall was Mitch Rawlinson (Fishing republic) who drew peg 4 on the Match Lake.
Mitch fished the long pole shallow with casters landing 166-12-0 of F1’s and claiming his place in the September 9th Semi Final.
Third to the frame was Keith Rockliffe (Partridge Lakes) from peg 1 on the Bridge Lake.
Keith also fished the long pole with casters shallow weighing in 159-13-0 of carp and F1’s

Fourth placed Matt Higgins (Matrix) drew peg 26 on Meadows weighing in 158-5-0 all caught on the pellet and caster fished shallow.
Fifth to the frame was Andy May (MAP) from peg 7 on the Canal lake. Andy’s F1 catch tipped the scales at 144-14-0.
Sixth placed Damian Bracken (Nathans Tackle) drew peg 7 on the Bridge Lake.
