Golden Reel Qualifier No13 Meadowlands Fishery, Saturday 1st July 2023

Conditions for this latest qualifier were highs of around 21C, breezy and a mixture of sun and partial cloud.

Winner today making his way to the September Grand Final was Dean Lock from peg 3 on Lambsdown.
Dean fished pellet shallow and later down his edges landing a superb bag of carp that scaled in at 294-8-0.

Second on the day and grabbing a Semi Final placing was Paul Fox from peg 1 on Lambsdown.
Paul weighed in 237-0-0 of carp all caught on the pellet shallow with some late fish down his edges.

Third placed Mark Griffiths makes the Semi Finals with 197-12-0 of carp all caught shallow on pellet.
Mark drew peg 44 on Lambsdown.

Fourth to frame was Perry Stone from peg 28 on Lambsdown with 171-0-0.
Perry lost quite a number of fish that could have cost him overall.
Perry’s tactics were pellet shallow on the pole and pellet waggler.

Fifth to frame was Tom Edwards from peg 27 on the Warren Lake with 165-4-0 all caught on pole fished shallow with pellet.
