Golden Reel Qualifier No19 Hallcroft Fishery Saturday 23rd July 2022

Conditions for this latest qualifier were highs of around 23C and a gentle breeze and mainly clear skies, but overcast later in the afternoon.

Winner today and progressing to the September final was Danny Crewe (Tackle Shack), who drew peg 6 on the Moat Outer Lake.
Danny fished the method feeder mainly down his edges feeding pellet and fishing on waffter hook bait landing some prime carp that tipped the scales at a massive 336-12-0.

Second on the day was Vic Molynux from peg 9 on the Moat Outer with 233-15 of carp all caught shallow and later down the edges.
Vic fished banded pellet over micro feed, securing a place in the Semi – Finals.

Third overall was Maver’s Andy Kinder who drew peg 17 on the Bridge Outer Lake.
Andy stuck to his plan, fishing the method feeder towards the middle of the lake. Loading his feeder with micro pellets and various waffter hook baits which produced a steady run of good carp weighing in 231-10-0 and a well earned placing in the Semi-Finals.

Fourth to the frame was Nathan Watson from peg 111 on the Moat Outer with 229-15-0.
Nathan fished the pole shallow with pellet later down his edges with maggot over micro pellet.

The complex fished brilliantly with multiple 100lbs + weights. Over 5000lbs of fish were weighed in.
