Golden Reel Qualifier No23, Hallcroft Fishery, Saturday 16th September 2023

Todays conditions were a dull day with a moderate breeze and highs of around 18C.

Winner today and through to the September 30^th final was Dan Bennet from peg 12 on the Moat Outer Pool.
Dan fished a perfect match catching most of his fish shallow on pellet and later down his edges to weigh in a massive 406-13-0.

Second on the day was Jamie Hughes from peg 5 on Bridge Outer.
Normally, Jamie would have done enough to reach the final with an impressive 228-7-0. Jamie caught shallow and down his edges.

Third to frame was Steve Forster from 44 on Bridge Outer.
Steve also caught shallow and down his edges finished the day with 151-13-0.

Fourth placed Steve Barraclough goes through to the Semi Finals with 124-3-0 from peg 41 on the Bridge outer.
Steve caught on pellet shallow and down his edge.

Fifth overall was Keiron Nicholson from peg 15 on Moat Outer with 122-10-0.
Keiron picks up a semi final placing.
