Golden Reel Qualifier No24 Larford Lakes, Wednesday 20th September 2023

The last qualifier in the series fished at Larford Lakes. Conditions was heavy rain all day, a strong breeze with temperatures tumbling to just 15 degrees.

Winner today and into another Golden Reel Final was Jordan Holloway with an impressive 329-0-0 from peg 26 on the Match Burr.
Jordan fished short and down his edges with meat landing quality carp from start to finish.

Second on the day was Perry Stone from peg 23 on the Match Burr Bank.
Perry weighed in 189-10-0 all caught down his edges with meat.
Perry is already though to the Semi Finals so his place today passes to 4^th place.

Third to frame was Jamie Hughes who drew peg 37 on the Specimen Lake.
Jamie caught steadily all day on the pole short and down his edges, weighing in 182-5-0.

Fourth placed Ollie Stringer drew peg 34 on the Specimen lake weighing in 181-8-0 of carp and bream all caught short and down his edges.
Ollie qualifies for the September 27^th Semi Final.

Fifth overall was Andy Christie from peg 27 on the Specimen Lake with 152-12-0 of quality carp and bream.
Andy caught short and down his edges.

6^th placed Paul Cook sneaks into the Semi Final with 148-10-0 from peg 16 on the Match Lake.
Paul caught on pellet short and down his edges.

In all there were 21 weights over 100lbs, backed up with a match winning 329lbs.

Just the Semi Final remains where 48 anglers go head to head for the two remaining finalist places.
