Golden Reel Qualifier No3 Lindholme Lakes, Saturday 16th April 2022

Decent conditions greeted the field today with bright sky’s, highs of around 15C and a pleasant breeze.

Winner today and making his way through to the September Grand Final was Dale Shepherd.
Dale drew peg 6 on Benny’s Lake and chose to fish Maggot shallow and later down his edges.
His tactics were spot on, landing a massive 319-8-0 for a very comfortable win.

Second on the day and qualifying for the Semi Finals was John Alexander from peg 10 on Benny’s.
John fished caster shallow landing 257-7-0. John’s catch was made up from quality F1’s and carp.

Third to the frame was Matt Godfrey from peg 5 on Benny’s.
Matt fished caster shallow weighing in a superb bag of carp and F1’s, scaling in at 256-6-0. Matt qualifies for the Semi Final but is on International duties so his place passes on to 4^th overall.

Fourth placed Stuart Naylor drew peg 9 on Benny’s and fished caster shallow weighing in with 239-7-0. Stuart qualifies for the Semi Final.

Fifth placed Oliver Scotthorne drew peg 70 on the Bonsai Lake with 233-12-0 all caught shallow with casters.
