Golden Reel Qualifier No6, Float Fish Farm, Saturday 13th May 2023

A new venue for Golden Reel here at Float Fish Farm in Cambridgeshire.
Lakes fished today were Horseshoe / Wagtail / Phoenix and Islands.

Winner today progressing to the Grand Final was Kieron Rich from peg 31 on Phoenix.
A great result for Kieron as he’d never fished the venue before.
Kieron fished the caster shallow, landing over 70lbs of ide and carp that scaled in at a total of 135-0-0.

Second overall was Simon Skelton from peg 8 on Wagtail.
Simon fished the long pole with pellet fished to depth, landing 133-8-0, just 2 1/2lbs short of a finalist placing but Simon qualifies for the semi finals.

Third to frame was Barry Mason from peg 19 on Pheonix.
Barry weighed in 118-4-0 of carp all caught on method feeder. Barry also qualifies for the semi finals.

Fourth placed Jimmy Brooks drew peg 14 on Phoenix, weighing in 108-0-0 all caught short with meat.

Fifth in the frame was Adam Swain from peg 33 on Phoenix with 107-2-0.
