A clash with Fish O Mania reduced the attendance to 71 anglers for this latest qualifier.
Conditions today was dry with a gentle but cool breeze and partial sunshine and highs of around 14C.
Winner today and making his way to a third Golden Reel final was Tom Edwards (Daiwa) from peg 100 on pool 7.
Tom caught well on the long pole fishing shallow with casters landing around 60lbs of prime bream and over a 100lbs of carp to finish the day with 166-9-0 and a shot at the £50K final overall prize.
Second to the frame was Kieron Rich (Middy / Burt Baits) from peg 20 on pool 1.
Kieron feed casters heavy on the long pole landing bream and carp shallow to record 158-12-0 and a place in the semi final.
Third overall was Joshua Pace from pool5, peg 76.
Josh fished the long pole on hand hard pellet landing 150-9-0 and also securing his place in the semi final.
Fourth on the day was Jamie Hughes (Matrix) from peg 87 on pool 6.
Jamie fished pellet long and at 6m landing carp & bream to finish the day with a hard earned 149-12-0
5th to the frame was Jason Dunworth who fished a brillant feeder match casting tight to the far reeds on peg 69 on pool 4.
