Golden Rod Feeder Carr Mill Sunday 4th November 2018

A sellout 60 pegs for this Sunday’s Golden Rod Qualifier.
Conditions were cool with a stiff breeze.

Winner and progressing to the March Grand Final was Richard Pennington who drew peg 90.
Richard fished the method feeder with ground bait and fished pellet and dead reds to catch bream and skimmers to weigh 19-08-00.

Second placed Charlie Simpson has already qualified so used his ticket to fish for the pools on the day.
Charlie drew peg 91 and fished the hybrid feeder at distance using waffter hook baits catching bream and skimmers to weigh 19-02-00.

Third in the frame was Garry Ainscough from peg 89 with a catch of bream and skimmers weighing in 16-05-00.
Gary caught on the method feeder with ground bait presenting pellet and dead red hookbaits.

Fourth overall was Darren Cox (Garbolino) who drew peg 88.
Darren fished the method at distance landing 11-04-00 of roach and skimmers.

Fifth overall was Jimmy Evans from peg 80.
Jimmy fished the method feeder with dead reds landing a level 11lbs.

Sixth to the frame was Lee Addy (Drennan) from peg 157.
Lee also fished the method feeder at distance to record a weight of 10-01-00.
