Colmic / Bag’em Larford Feeder Championships | Saturday 19th May 2018

Conditions were hot, calm & muggy. All the resident carp on the Specimen Lake were swimming round shallow in their thousands.

Needless to say, fishing a feeder when the fish were shallow meant few carp were caught.

The bream however, fed well and made up most of the weights.

The winner was Trevor Wise and Craig Whittaker joint with 45-08-00.

Trevor caught on the method mainly bream and a single carp with waffters from peg 68.

Craig drew peg20 and fished for bream all day on the cage feeder weighing in some quality bream.

3^rd on the day was Pete Jones (Colmic) who drew peg 22 weighing in an all bream catch of 29-06-00.

4^th placed Rob Blackburn drew peg 6 and had an early 13lbs carp backed up with skimmers to the method and cage feeder to weigh 28-15-00

5^th on the day was Lee Horbury who drew peg 82 landing a couple of carp and a few bream for 27-08-00 to method feeder.

6^th place went to Scott Chipchase from peg 76 with 26-14-00 of bream to the method.
