Conditions today, red hot with highs of around 28-30C Burning sunshine with a gentle south west wind. Fish were all on the top on both lakes and difficult to catch.
Winner today and straight into the grand final was Jack O’Sullivan who drew peg 16 on the Specimen Lake.
Jack arrived at his peg with little showing, but after an hour, carp drifted down with the wind and fishing shallow and slapping produced a massive 331-7-0 of carp to 15lbs+
Second placed Ben Evenden drew peg 15 next to the winner on the Specmen Lake. Ben also fished shallow on the pole and pellet waggler landing 294-5-0.
As Ben has already qualified for the Semi Final, his qualification was passed to fourth place.
Third to frame and qualification for the Semi Final was Chris Lane who drew peg 14 on the Specimen Lake.
Chris mugged with pellet shallow landing an impressive 255-15-0 of quality carp.
Fourth overall was Matt Greening from peg 22 on the Match lake.
Matt fished the pole shallow landing 248-3-0 on pellet.
Fifth placing Mark Griffiths drew peg 1 on the Match Lake and mugged all day catching carp on pellet to weigh in 225-9-0.
