Golden Reel Qualifier No 4, Partridge Lakes, Saturday June 13th 2020

Lakes :- Covey 1-6 & Spey Lakes.

A full 100 peg sell out for the popular Partridge Lakes.  Conditions for the match was very warm, almost breathless with highs of around 24C.

Winner overall, and progressing to the September Grand final was Kieran Marsden who drew peg 149 on Covey 6.
Fishing tight across with pellet and maggot shallow, the Crester-Dynamite sponsored angler produced a stunning performance, landing a massive 197-1-0.

Second on the day was Lee Thornton (Middy) from peg 141 on Covey 6.
Lee fished pellet shallow and to depth, landing carp and F1’s to weigh 187-3-0. Lee automatically qualifies for the September Semi-final at Larford with a big chance of progressing to the final.

Third overall was Sam Slockett (Preston) who drew peg 172 on Covey 6.
Fishing pellet and maggot shallow Sam weighed in 157-6-0 and secures his place in the September Semi-final.

Fourth to the frame was Mike Gallimore weighing in 151-9-0 of carp and F1’s from peg 4 on the Spey Lake.

Fifth placed Dave Brown SNR drew peg 139 on Covey 6 weighing in 140-12-0.

From the sell out 100 competitors, 23 weights over 100lbs were recorded.
A credit to the fishery, so a big thank you to Partridge lakes and all the staff.

Next qualifiers, Woodland View Saturday June 20th and Larford Lakes, Wednesday June 24th.
Both being a rolling draw 7:30 – 9am.
