Golden Reel Qualifier No 7 Lindholme Lakes, Saturday 27th June 2020.

Again a sell out 100 qualifier. Conditions on the day presented a change in temperature falling substantially to around 18C.
Strong winds and heavy showers also made for difficult conditions.

Winner on the day was Tom Edwards (Diawa/ Advantage Baits) who drew peg 6 on Bennys Lake.
Tom fished caster and pellet shallow landing a bumper bag of prime F1’s and a few bonus carp to weigh in 181-7-0.
Tom progresses to his second Golden Reel Final on the bounce.

Carl O’Brien was second on the day. Fishing caster shallow and late corn over groundbait down his edges, Carl ended the day with an impressive bag of F1’s and carp weighing in at 172-1-0 from peg 60 on Benny’s Lake.
Carl reaches the September 9^th Semi-Final and a great chance to reach the Golden Reel Final.

Third overall was Allan Scotthorne (Drennan) from peg 33 on the Willows Lake.
Allan fished caster shallow all match landing carp and F1’s for a total weight of 157-11-0.
Allan also qualifies for the September Semi Final.

Fourth placed Paul Holland (Guru / Blakes Baits) drew peg 20 on Benny’s Lake.
Paul fished caster shallow all day recording an all F1 catch of 156-2-0.

Fifth to the frame was Mike Gallimore (Drennan NW) from peg 48 on the Willows Lake.
Mike fished caster shallow all of the match to weigh in 154-4-0.

Sixth overall was Tom Bainbridge (Matrix) from peg 5 on the Willows with 153-7-0 all to caster shallow.
