60 anglers turned out for this latest qualifier. Conditions today was warm with highs of 23C and a strong breeze with clear skies.
Winner today and reaching his second Golden Reel Final was Mick Bull (Frenzee) who drew the outstanding peg 124.
This is the peg everyone wants to draw and Mick made no mistakes to qualify for the 2022 Grand Final.
Mick started on the long pole shallow but quickly switched to bomb and pellet casting to his right hand reed edge, netting a massive 310-10-0, putting him 152lbs clear of his nearest rival.
Second placed Kioran Rich qualifies for the Semi – Final with 158-0-0 from peg 29 on the river bank.
Kioran also fished bomb & pellet, landing carp and F1’s.,
Third place, and a Semi Final placing went to Phil Canning (Nufish) who drew peg 30 on the river bank.
Phil fished the long pole with maggot, landing 106-12-0.
Fourth place Callum Dicks (Maver) drew peg 52 and targeted the skimmers, landing over 80lbs on pole & meat at just 6m.
Callum also found a couple of bonus carp to weigh in a total weight of 105-5-0.
Fifth placed Warren Jennings drew peg 90, landing 104-12-0.
