Again, a 60 peg sell-out but as always, some anglers didn’t show despite the favourable conditions.
Temperature on the day was 10C with a light breeze.
Winner on the day was Mark O’Neill (Larford) who drew peg 3 on the Specimen Lake.
Mark chose to fish the method at distance with waffter hook baits, landing carp and bream to weigh 69-13-00 to clinch a place in the March Grand Final.
Second placed Matt Godfrey (Guru) also progresses to the Grand Final with a weight of 52-12-00 of carp and bream from peg 27 on the Specimen Lake.
Matt fished the hybrid feeder with waffters at distance.
Third overall was Kieron Rich (Middy) who drew peg 2 on the Specimen Lake.
Kieron fished the method at distance, landing carp and bream on waffters finishing the day with 49-12-00.
Fourth in the frame was Welsh rod, Rob Wiltshire (Greens) from peg 48 on the Specimen Lake.
Rob fished the method at distance with waffters landing 45-15-00.
Fifth overall was Mick Bull (Frenzee / Bag’em) with 42-05-00 of carp and bream from peg 82 on the Specimen Lake.
Mick fished the method with various waffter hook baits.
Sixth placed Kieron Bailey (Larford) drew peg 46 on the Match Lake landing 32-11-00 to the Method and waffters.
