Golden Rod Feeder Tamar Lakes Saturday 16th February 2019

A sell out qualifier at the popular Tamar Lakes gave 60 anglers the chance to qualify for the March Grand Final.
Conditions were favourable with temperatures of around 10C with little or no breeze.
That being said, water temperatures were very low and the roach and bream shoals were reluctant to feed.

Overall winner was Paul Greenwood (MS Angling) with 13-00-00 of roach and skimmers and a few lake bream.
Paul caught on the feeder, fished at 20m and later finding a few good bream at 40m.
Paul caught on maggot and pinkies to clinch his place in the March Final.

Second overall was Zac Newton with 9-10-00 of skimmers caught on the open end feeder fished at 53m.
Zac caught on Maggot and Pinkies.

In joint third place was Chris Morris (So Simple Baits), weighing in 9-01-00 again to the open ender fished at 40m.
Chris caught roach and perch with maggot and worm.

Sharing third position was Kevin Abigail (Garbolino BMV) also weighing in 9-01-00.
Kev caught short at just 20m with the open ender landing an all roach catch.

Fifth overall was Matt Grindle with a level 9-00-00 of skimmers to the feeder fished at 60m.

Zone winners (20 peg zones)
Zone A Paul Greenwood 13-10-00
