Golden Reel Qualifier No 17 Lindholme Lakes Sunday 14th July 2019

Heavy overnight rain and a drop in temperatures could well of effected the catch rates for the 17th qualifier here at Lindholme Lakes.
How wrong can you be. The fantastic complex produced 3 weights over 300lbs, 5 weights over 200lbs and a staggering 30 weights over 100lbs for the 50 competitors.

Winner today was Andy Power (Preston) who drew peg 33 on the Laurel Lake.
Andy fished caster shallow at 6m which produced a bite every chuck from quality F1’s and a few carp.
Andy recorded a massive 337-14-0, almost 30lbs clear of his nearest rival.
So onwards to yet another Golden Reel Final and defending his 2018 title.
