Golden Rod Feeder | Patshull Park | 30th September 2017

The first Golden Rod Feeder Qualifier took place at Patshull Park. Conditions were wet and windy and the fishing proved difficult on the day.

Winner overall was Graham Hallows who drew peg 46 on the hotel bank
The Sensas rod fished worm & caster through a ground bait feeder at 40m and later switched to his short line catching roach and skimmers to weigh 29lbs.
Graham progresses to the March Grand Final

2nd on the day was Gareth Lambert who drew peg 55 (Boats) landing 23-12-00 of skimmers & roach
Gareth caught on open end feeder with chopped worm and casters all at close range.

3rd placed Geoff Valance drew peg 61 (Boats) landing 19-06-00 of bream & roach.
Geoff fished a cage feeder at distance with worm & caster.

4th placed Ian Giddins (Bag’em) drew peg 56 (Boats) weighing 18-02-00 of small skimmers and roach.

5th on the day was Garry Johnson who drew peg 39 on the hotel bank weighing 17lbs – 2 – 0 to cage feeder again to worm & caster.
