Golden Rod Feeder | Southfield | Saturday 11th November 2017

The 5th Golden Rod Feeder championship took place today at the popular Southfield Reservoir.

A sellout 60 pegs were taken up by a very tallented field of anglers including a number of England Feeder International anglers.

The overall winner today was Lee Hall who drew peg 48.
Fishing a cage feeder with chopped worm & dead reds, Lee fished at around 55-60m landing some quality bream to worm hook bait to weigh 27lbs 5oz.

2nd on the day was Sam Crag who drew peg 14, again fishing a cage feeder with chopped worm and dead reds on the hook.
Fishing at around 50m and landing some quality bream for a weight of 27lb 4oz, just 1oz behind the overall winner.

3rd placed Andy Renton drew peg 42 fishing at around 50-50m.
Using a small cage feeder with chopped worm & dead reds, Andy went on to land a level 19lbs of bream.

4th on the day was Steve Walker recording a level 18lbs of bream from peg 18.
Fishing a cage feeder at 50m with worm hook bait.

5th overall was Wayne Bartholomew who drew peg 32.
Wayne fished at 50-60m with a cage feeder & worm landing 14-14-00 of bream.

6th Peter Cox from peg 41 weighing 13-08-00.
